Detailed description

Lake Don Pedro Golf and Country Club, originally named Hidden Hills Resort & Golf Club, is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in La Grange, California. Hidden Hills is convenient to the San Francisco Bay, Sacramento and San Jose metro areas. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, not far from Yosemite National Park and renowned fishing lakes,

Lake Don Pedro Golf and Country Club first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by William F. Bell. The facility underwent an $11 million renovation including a course was redesigned in 2008 by Ray Claveran.

This hilly course has some scattered clusters of trees that can affect your shots. The well-bunkered greens are slightly sloped and four are elevated. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on two holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,808 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,344 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 555 yards. The shortest holes on the course are # 9 and 14, both par-3's that play to 206 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 435 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, a 370 yard par-4.

In addition to their 14,500 SF clubhouse, there are 24 stay-and-play rental units and 38 adjacent residential lots.
