Club At Morningside, The

Club At Morningside, The, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Rancho Mirage, California.

The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course first opened for play in 1981.

The golf course has 140 acres of manicured fairways and greens, and 20 acres of lakes, that come into play on 14 of the 18 holes. 

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,785 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,492 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 559 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 433 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 192 yard par-3.

Each fall, 250,000 individual flowers planted on the golf course. These colorful displays make a round of golf at Morningside a round you will not soon forget. Morningside golf course is often used as a backdrop for television and magazine ads that feature professional golf players.
