Keokuk Country Club, CLOSED 2016

Keokuk Country Club is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Keokuk, Iowa.

Keokuk Country Club first opened for play in 1900. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.

This scenic course has four holes overlooking the Mississippi River.  The course was built on rolling terrain and has water coming into play on almost every hole.  There are additional tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.

White tees: par-36, 3,091 yards
Red tees: par-37, 2,662 yards

The course closed in 2016.

There's a push to save the Keokuk Country Club which closed and is up for sale 

In fact, you can buy pieces of the property. Tony Sargeant with Cramer Real Estate says the golf course and pro shop are selling for roughly $350,000. 

The clubhouse is selling for $305,000. Owner Dan Hodges bought the club in 2013. He's hoping someone will buy it and reopen the club to preserve the history.
