Detailed description
The Club At StoneRidge formerly known as Golden Belt Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Great Bend, Kansas

The Club At StoneRidge golf course first opened for play in 1940. The course was expanded to 18 holes 1981. Richard Watson designed the back nine.

Great Bend, Kansas, is the heart of the Heartland! When you reach Great Bend, you have reached the core of Walt Whitman's "Prairies and Plains," the defining American landscape. Don't let the word "plain" fool you, though. There is much to do here along the "great bend" of the Arkansas River! How about golf?

Great Bend has always served as a way station for weary travelers. Strategically positioned along US 281 (stretching across the Great Plains from Mexico to Canada), Among the travlers are migratory birds, making Great Bend one of the best known bird watching sites in the United States.

The Club At StoneRidge golf course is an average-length course with narrow, tree-lined fairways. The course is on predominantly flat terrain. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and sand bunkers come into play throughout the design. The greens are medium-sized, sloped and generally fast.

The 18-hole Golden Belt course at the The Club At StoneRidge facility plays to 6,383 yards from theback tees. The course rating is 70.9 and the slope rating is126. Par for the course is 70.

The signature hole is #17, a 475-yard, par 5, requiring a difficult tee shot to a sloped fairway that is lined by trees and water on the left side and multiple sand bunkers on the right side. The green on #17 is two-tiered and protected on the right and left sides by sand bunkers.

Championship tees: par-70, 6,383 yards, 70.9/126

Middle tees: par-70, 5,739 yards, 67.8/120

Forward tees: par-72, 5,191 yards, 68.6/112
