Detailed description

Royal Links Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The course, which first opened for play in 1998, was designed by Dye Designs International.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,092 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,142 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 621 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays 153 yards from the back tees.

This is a links-style course. The course holes were inspired by holes on eleven different British Open rotation courses. They include the Road Hole and Hell Bunker from the Old Course at St. Andrews and the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale.

Markers are prominent on the holes indicating the spots where great moments in British Open history took place.

Golfers may choose to engage the services of a professional forecaddie adding to the "Scottish" experience. The forecaddies are knowledgeable about the history of each hole, as well the location of the 108 pot bunkers, some of which are hidden. Walking caddies are also available and are required for those who choose to walk.

Course Closed December 17, 2021
