Established in 1901, the Monadnock Country Club has over 100 years of history. A professional groundskeeper maintains this 9-hole executive Golf course.
With a par of 29, don’t be fooled! Strategically placed bunkers and small, contoured greens give the golfer a memorable round. With its bent-grass fairways and greens, this 9-hole Executive course is noted for it's fairness to all levels of golf, while maintaining its ability to challenge the best of players.
The layout features a par 3 with a 60-foot elevation change from tee to green and a 300-yard par 4 with an approach shot over a natural wetland.
Blue tees: par-29, 1,625 yards
Red tees: par-29, 1,411 yards
Course closed at end of 2016 season
According to Ray Gagnon, a member of the board of directors at the club, the course will not reopen after the 2016 golf season. Decreasing revenue and loss of membership are cited as reasons for the closure.
