Detailed description

Long Creek Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Bethania, North Carolina.

Long Creek Club first opened in 1964 and was named Wedgewood. The course was built by Oren McLean. In the early 1970s, the course was closed but eventually reopened. The course name was changed to Bethania Golf Club until 1990 when new owners purchased the property and renamed it Long Creek Golf Club.

The course requires most of your shots to be played uphill, making this a true test of course management. The greens are undulating and sloped. Water hazards come into play on six holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,414 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,737 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 562 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 130 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 409 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 179 yard par-3.

The course closed October 2, 2016.
