Detailed description

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a Resort, 36 hole golf facility located in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are Mystic Rock Course and Shepherd's Rock Golf Course.

The Mystic Rock Course is the older of the two golf courses having opened in 1995. The course was designed by Pete Dye.

Sitting high atop the Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains, Mystic Rock spans acres of scenic highlands, offering players championship golf in a spectacular setting. The Mystic Rock Course has water coming into play on ten holes. Even though the fairways were cut out of the woods, they still afford generous landing areas. The greens are large and undulating.

Champ tees: par-72, 7,526 yards
Blue tees: par-72, 6,818 yards
White tees: par-72, 6,313 yards
Yellow tees: par-72, 5,668 yards
Red tees: par-72, 4,848 yards

Mystic Rock has a rating of 77 and slope of 149 from the championship tees, one of the highest ratings in the country.

Former home to the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA Tour event, Mystic Rock has played host to some of the world's top professional golfers, including Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh.
