Detailed description

Wayne County Golf Course, previously named Fairfield Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Fairfield, Illinois.

Fairfield Country Club Golf Course opened in 1931 as a 9-hole layout. The course was designed by Art Schaupeter.

Wayne County Golf Course offers private memberships, but from April to October it is open for public play six days a week. This 18-hole course features the mature first 9-holes with the "new-9" now open for play. The "New-9" weaves through a brand new subdivision, Ferrington Farms. When you've finally made your way around the course and find yourself back at the clubhouse ready for the final hole, only the island green of the eighteenth stands between you and your final score.
