Inverness Country Club

Inverness Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Inverness Country Club Golf Course first opened for play in 1973. George W. Cobb designed the course. In 2006 the course was entirely renovated by golf course architect Bill Bergin.

Inverness has narrow fairways, the greens are small, numerous trees are lining the fairways, and lakes come into play at least four times. The course is located within a residential development, and its terrain is rolling. One of the most challenging holes to play is #12, a long par 4, with a dogleg right and uphill fairway.
