The golf course Burningtree Country Club first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by George Cobb.

Watch out for # 5, a 460 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Burningtree Country Club is # 13, a 521 yard par-5.
