Twin Bridges Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Gadsden, Alabama.
Twin Bridges Golf Club first opened for play in 2003. The course was designed by Gene Bates and Matt Swanson.
The par 72, 6,700 yard, 18-hole course, will challenge and delight golfers of all skill levels. The course features Bermuda fairways, bent grass greens, and strategically placed bunkers all set along the Coosa River.
Water comes into play on 11 holes. That plus more than 50 bunkers and some wetland areas, makes this course plenty challenging. The course has a fine collection of par-3s topped off by the downhill #8 (138 to 191 yards), which plays over the corner of a lake with a large bunker protecting the front of the green. The course has a number of short par-4s (four at 350 yards or shorter), but trouble will be found if you don't keep it in the fairway. Similarly, the par-5s are short on distance but big on the potential for trouble. Even the shortest - the 373- to 477-yard #15 - is tough to reach in two thanks to all of the trouble around the green. The 17th and 18th are great finishing holes. The 17th (273 to 410 yards) requires a tee shot over water and a deep bunker and a second shot to a green protected by water and trees. The 18th (297 to 428 yards) also requires a tee shot over water, which then runs up the right side of the hole. Bunkers and a well-placed tree can cause trouble off the tee.
