Craig Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Selma, Alabama.
The course opened in 1954. Craig Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones. When first pened, this was a military golf course located on Craig Air Force Base. The base closed in 1977. After the base closed, the airfield was converted into a civil airport for Selma, Alabama and renamed the Craig Field Airport and Industrial Complex.
The course remains and is open to the public. This is a flat, straight-forward course with small, flat greens that are medium speed. Some of the fairways are tree lined, and all of them vary in width.
Craig Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par-36 and measures 3,188 yards from the tips and 2,596 yards from the forward tees.
