Spring Creek Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Tuscumbia, Alabama, the birthplace of Helen Keller.
This 9-hole golf course is located adjacent to Spring Park and only a few short blocks from downtown. The course opened for play in 1964,
This fairways are wide-open because trees only sparsely line the holes. The terrain is basically flat, so the course is easy to walk. The small greens are only mildly undulating. Water hazards, including a lateral creek, come into play on two holes. One of the more difficult holes, #2, a 118-yard, par 3, can create frustration for the average golfer because it requires a tee shot from off an elevated tee to a slightly elevated green that slopes from front to back.
Both men and ladies play from the same tee box which measures 3,005 yards for the 9-holes. For men, the course par is 36. Ladies par is 40.
Additional tee locations can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.
