Athabasca Golf Country Club is an 18 hole golf course located in Athabasca, Alberta.
Athabasca Golf and Country Club was originally a nine hole layout designed in 1963. The course was expanded to a full eighteen holes in 1995 by Sid Puddicombe.
The fairways are fairly flat and narrow. The greens on the front nine are large and undulating, while the greens on the back nine are smaller and less undulating. There is a double green on holes #4 and #7. The signature hole is #3, a 220-yard, par 3, with a sixty-foot elevated green. There is a creek running through the fairway and in front of the green. Deer and foxes are in abundance on and around the course.
During your round you may encounter a variety of wildlife including fox, moose, deer or even the occasional bear.
