The two courses, the Persimmon Course and the Ironwood Course, both stretch more than 7,200 yards from the back tees and are true desert layouts.
The Ironwood Course is the more challenging course and a real test even for low-handicap players. You'll know your challenged when you get to "Anthem Corner," the 10th through 12th holes that play around water to a par of 4, 3, and 5.
The Persimmon Course first opened for play in 2000. It is the more traditional of the two and features a signature 18,000-square-foot double green that concludes both the ninth and 18th holes.
Par for The Persimmon Course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7168 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5584 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 582 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 460 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Persimmon Course is # 10, a 343 yard par-4.
