The Rim Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Payson, Arizona.
The Rim Golf Course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
Originally a Private course, the course became open to the public in the summer of 2009. Members are still catered to at this exclusive golf facility. The public isn't allowed on the golf course until after 10 a.m.
Private clubs typical cater to low-handicap players. The Rim Golf Club with designed with that in mind. Five of the par 4s are 450 yards or longer. Two par 5s measure more than 575 yards. Adding to the challenge, most of the holes play uphill.
The course sits at an elevation of 5,000 feet. This scenic, well manicured course has mountain vistas, dramatic elevation changes, rocky outcroppings and 200 mile views.
