Arizona Country Club, The

Arizona Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Phoenix, Arizona.

The club can trace its lineage to 1910 with the opening of The Ingleside Club and golf course. Ingleside closed and was overgrown when purchased in 1946. A totally new course was designed and opened for play in 1946. The course was designed by Ernest Suggs and Willie Wansa. The course was redesigned by Johnny Bulla in 1962.  Another redesign was completed by Tom Clark and Bill Love in 1986. 

Arizona Country Club is the second oldest club in Arizona.  There are some water hazards on the course.

The signature hole is #10, a 589-yard, par 5, with water that comes into play on the right side of the green, 

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,714 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,563 yards. The longest hole on the course is the signature hole, # 10, a par-5 that plays to 589 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 143 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 508-yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 171 yard par-3.
