El Caro Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole executive golf course located in Phoenix, Arizona.
El Caro Golf Course first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by Bruce Devlin.
The course has fourteen par 3's and six par 4's, making it a good place for practicing your short game. The terrain is predominantly flat and the fairways are narrow and tree lined. There are no sand bunkers on this course. Water hazards come into play on ten holes. The greens are medium-sized.
El Caro plays to a par-60 and maximum 18-hole distance of 3,300 yards. The course rating is 55.5 with a slope rating of 80.
The El Caro Golf Club Golf Course closed in 2007.
At the time of closure, it was rumored that a developer purchased the golf course and an adjacent apartment complex with plans to convert the property to condominiums.
