The White Mountain Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1955. The course was designed by Milton Coggins and Grey Madison.

Both challenging and fun, the 18-hole course stretches out over 6,500 yards. Golfers will revel in the surrounding scenery with a thick pine forest lining every fairway, rolling hills, rugged outcroppings of lava and malapai rock formations, and spectacular views of the largest Ponderosa Pine forest in North America. The course has bent grass greens, creeping bent fairways, and bluegrass/rye roughs. Best of all, there is no out of bounds on the golf course. If you can find it, you can hit it.
