Desert Highlands Golf Club first opened for play in 1984.The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Desert Highlands was the site of the first two Skins Games, 1983 and 1984. When you play this course you walk in the footsteps of Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Gary Player.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,072 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,025 yards. Better get warmed up on #1, because #2 is the longest hole on the course, this par-5 plays to a whopping 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is #15, a 145 yard par-3.
