Forty Niner Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Tucson, Arizona.
Forty Niner Country Club first opened for play in 1961.The course was designed by William F. Bell.
The course sits between the Catalina and Rincon Mountains, with views of both ranges. Forty Niner sits along a wooded riverbed with fairways lined by mature trees and native desert shrubbery. Mesquite, giant cottonwood, eucalyptus and weeping willow trees add to the natural landscape. The golf course is visually inviting while providing a solid challenge for all players.
After facing the course's most difficult hole early in the round, the par-four #5, players have the chance to make up scoring ground on the inward nine. All in all, Forty Niner Country Club provides players with an enjoyable relaxed balanced round of golf.
