Razorback Park Golf Course is Fayetteville's oldest public golf course having been established in 1958 as a nine-hole course. In 1992, it was expanded to 18 holes. The course was designed by E.H. Sonneman.

A May 30, 2015 report declared that Fayetteville's oldest public golf course is teed up for a major residential development.
A company registered to Jim Lindsey of Lindsey Management Co. is under contract to buy Razorback Park Golf Course and plans to build several hundred apartments and houses on the 125-acre property, according to city documents, the golf course owner and Scott Rogerson, chief financial officer for Lindsey Management.
