Cedar Glade Golf Course, previously named Hillhigh Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a Resort, 18 hole, par-3 golf course located in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
Cedar Glade Golf Course first opened for play in 1978.
The course was built on rolling terrain and has several ponds and bridges. In addition to the ponds, numerous cedar trees can alter your shots, so accuracy is imperative. The signature hole is #3, a 92-yard, par 3, over a large pond, often called the big ball washer, but locally know as "Tommy's Pond" because on one round back in the early years of the course a local by the name of Tommy hit 13 consecutive balls from the tee that failed to clear the pond. This pond, an old quarry.
The course is a surprisingly nice par 3 playing to an 18-hole distance of 1,751 yards and a par of 54. Local knowledge says if your visiting the area and want to play golf, the course is fine, but stay somewhere other the antiquated Cedar Glade "Resort" 1970s cinder block motel.
