Meadowmont Golf Course is a Public, 37 acre, 9 hole golf course located in Arnold, California, next to Highway 4 on the town's west end.
Meadowmont Golf Course first opened for play in 1954. The course was designed by Dick Fry.
A mountain course, the layout has small greens that are generally level. The fairways are tree lined and a bit narrow. Water hazards (a creek and a lake) come into play on several holes. An additional set of tees are available for those wishing to play a double loop eighteen hole round.
The course plays to a 9-hole par-36 and maximum 9-hole distance of 2,931.
In 2006, Meadowmont Golf Partnership sold the course to Par 3 Investment Properties LLC for a bit more than $500,000.
Par 3 failed to repay a loan to Bridge Bank of San Jose. The bank foreclosed, and in March 2010 the property sold at auction for $25,000, a fraction of the $423,971 still owed to the bank, according to property records.
The new owner, 1513 Investors LLC, has the same Los Gatos address and the same agent, a man named Daniel Shaw, as Par 3, the previous owner.
The course closed in 2011.
