Spanish Hills Golf & Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Camarillo, California.
Spanish Hills Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Robert E. Cupp.
Spanish Hills Country Club's private 18-hole championship golf course features dramatic views of the surrounding mountains, ocean and countryside. At 6,702 yards from the Professional tees, the par 71 layout is as challenging as it is beautiful. With five sets of tees for players of all skill levels, the course can also be very forgiving.
This club is highlighted by its Spanish motif. The terrain is rolling. The fairways are narrow and undulating, and the greens are average in size and speed, but roll true. Shot accuracy is essential for playing a grat round here. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes. Other notable course features include constant elevation changes, many strategically placed bunkers and large undulating bentgrass greens.
The signature hole is #18, a 357-yard, par 4, requiring an all uphill tee shot on a fairway with an elevation change of thirty feet, then an approach shot over water to a triple-tiered green that is bunkered in the back and the left front.
