Marine Memorial Golf Course is a Military 27 hole golf facility located in Camp Pendleton, California. The facility has an 18-hole course, The Regulation Course and a 9-hole course, The Par-3 Course.
The Regulation Course first opened for play in 1949. The course was designed by William P. Bell. Ron Fream, Peter Thomson and Michael Wolveridge redesigned the course in 1980.
The Regulation Course is consistently in good condition. The greens are average-sized. A number of trees come into play throughout the course.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,711 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,716 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 529 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 161 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 380-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 161 yard par-3.
