Reviews

This course has been reviewed 9 time

Played on a Saturday, 8:00 am tee time. We had requested a 5 some to play on several times before this & they said no. They had a 5 some in front of us that the starter said would play fast. Just the opposite. by the 7th hole they were 2 holes behind. The 4 some behind us was even waiting. Complained to the marshall 3 times. The 3rd time, on hole #14, he told us they had a standing tee time every week & that they paid for 5 so he can't do anything. we even suggested he split them into a 2 & 3 some & he said no. It was very evident that this corse favors employees frinds over all othe golfers.

Green, especially on the front nine, were literally bare dirt with a spattering of grass. Course is in extremely poor condition and no apparent proactive measures being taken to improve it. They went from two nice golf courses to one pitiful one

The Orange County Flood Control District bought the course so they could widen the Santa Ana river. They hired a management group to run the course. The condition is deplorable, but what you'd expect from that type ownership.

I am new to the area from the Sacramento area, but I was glad to play a course without seeing a house or shopping mall. I will play again. Although it is not that tough from the white tees, it is a nice course to play because fairways dog leg both left and right with greens that run nice and true.

The new layout is interesting, but I miss some of the old holes. I'm a member and permenant tee time holder.

First time I played here since the course re-design (combined Orange and Riverside holes). It was windy in the afternoon, but pace of play was good and the price was very reasonable.

There are no fairway cuts, it appears as all one length. There is only one cut around the greens. They redid the back nine several years ago and it just does not fit. Tee boxes need lots of work, with lots of low spots and uneveness throughout. The greens all vary in speed with there being no consistency throughout the course.
