Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club is a Public, 36 hole golf Facility located in Costa Mesa, California. The Facility has two 18-hole golf courses: The Mesa Course and The Los Lagos Course.
Both course opened for play in 1968. Both The Mesa Course and The Los Lagos Course. were designed by William Bell and both were renovated in the 1980s by Ronald Fream.
The Mesa Linda course which is the shorter course and plays to a par 70. Both courses have several sand bunkers on the fairways and around the greens. The greens on both courses are large, have medium speed and are heavily sloped.
The Los Lagos Course is the longer of the two courses with its greatest challenge being the trees that line the fairways. There are also five ponds on the course. It's a challenging par 72 golf course, running over 6,500 yards. The front nine consists of several holes that traverse rolling hills, slopes and water. The back nine has several dog legs to challenge the most skillful golfer.
