Balboa Municipal Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Encino, California
Balboa was designed by William P. Bell & Sons and opened in 1954 as the Sepulveda North Course. Balboa Municipal Golf Course was the first golf course to be built as part of the 36-hole Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area complex which also includes the Encino Municipal Golf Course. The golf course was lengthened by Steve Timm in 2008.
Balboa Municipal Golf Course is a short-length golf course with narrow tree-lined fairways. Balboa provides a real challenge for mid to high handicap golfers.
