Alondra Park Golf Course is a Public 36 hole golf facility located in Lawndale, California. The facility has two 18 hole golf courses at Alondra. There is the regulation par 72 North Course and the 2,252 yards par 54 South Course.
The South Course, designed by Cecil B. Hollingsworth, first opened for play in 1947.
The course has tight tree-lined fairways. The terrain is flat and the course is easy to walk. The greens are small and fast. The course is actually quite attractive for being so straight forward, repetitive and flat. The down side of this par-3 course for some will be the tee boxes where you hit from mats.
The course measures 2,252 yards and plays to an 18-hole par of 54. All holes are par-3s with the longest being #14 which measures 165 yards.
