Chimney Rock Golf Course first opened for play in 1966. The course was designed by Bob E. Baldock and Robert L. Baldock

Originally a nine hole course, the course eventually beame a 9 hole course playing to a par-36 and 3,412 yards.

Course closed for business in 2000 and was replaced with a vineyard.
