Blacklake Golf Course -Oaks/Lakes/Canyon, is a Public, 27 hole golf course facility located in Nipomo, California.
Located between Santa Maria and Pismo Beach Blacklake Golf Resort is the Central Coast's only 27 hole golf resort. Each of their three nines offer distinct challenges to golfers of all skill levels. From their water pools and scenic coastal hills on their original 18-holes "Lakes and Canyon" layout, to the unspoiled natural beauty of their newest nine, the "Oaks", Blacklake is a unique championship golf course.
The Lakes/Canyon course first opened for play in 1965. This par-72, 6,401 layout (Lakes-3,276 yards / Canyon- 3,125 yards) was designed by Ted Robinson, Jr.
Canyons Nine
The Canyons course unfolds along undulating terrain with several elevated tee boxes overlooking the fairways below. Here, the vistas and valleys invite a steady stream of refreshing sea breezes—helping you stay cool as you stand over that pressure putt.
Lakes Nine
<p> The Lakes course is the most forgiving of the three courses, with wide fairways that make it the perfect proving ground for newer golfers. It even opens with a par 3 to start your round off on a confident note. But it's also a long course, so you can't call it a pushover, either.
Oaks Nine
The Oaks course is the newest 9. It was designed by Robert Ogden. This layout plays to a maximum of 2,909 yards and par is 35.
The Oaks course offers a more intimate and sheltered setting, with fairways that wind through a forest of coastal oak trees. The Oaks course is more of a "target golf" experience, and you can find yourself in the woods if you’re not careful.
