Contra Costa Country Club

Contra Costa Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Pleasant Hill, California.

The Contra Costa Country Club golf course was designed by Robert Muir Graves. The par 71 course plays to a maximum of 6,850 yards for a course rating of 71.5 and a slope rating of 131.

The Contra Costa Country Club was begun in 1925 by a small group of friends with a love for the game of golf, and the notion that we ought to get all the enjoyment out of life that we can. They thought that enjoyment and golf were two sides of the same coin and so they started this Club. Nothing pretentious or grand, just a solid golf course they could play with pleasure and take pride in. At Contra Costa, it has always been about “the course”.

Over the years, through droughts and floods, depressions and wars, it has been constantly improved for the enjoyment of its members and their guests. The result of this constant attention to improvement is one of the finest golf courses in the San Francisco Bay Area.
