Pleasanton Golf Center, previously named Pleasanton Fairways Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located inside the Alameda County Fairground's thoroughbred race track in Pleasanton, California.
Pleasanton Fairways Golf Course first opened for play in 1974. The course was designed by Ron Curtola.
This 9 hole executive length course has 3 par-4s, #s 1, 4, and 6all of which play over 250 yards. The 6 par-3s play from 125 to 175 yards. The fairways are wide. Sand bunkers are on all but holes # 3 and 6. There are two water hazards, they come into play on holes 1, 6 and 8.
The course is well maintained. There is no rough to speak of and for the most part, out of bounds means your ball is on the race track.
