If playing a double loop 18-holes, par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,276 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,814 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 521 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 14, a 334 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 147 yard par-3.
The course is flat and easy to walk. Mt. Lassen can be seen in the distance.
The course was closed from August 2017 to July 2, 2018. The course has new owners who, during the time the course was closed, brought in experts in turf management to rehabilitate the fairways and greens, which had suffered after years of drought and the closing of the course.
The course’s bunkers have been renovated some deepened and others and filled with high-quality silica sand. A new moat has also been dug around the sixth hole, making it an island green.
