As it's name implies, Jurupa Hills has hilly fairways. They are undulating, somewhat wide open, tree lined and have many elevation changes. The water hazards only come into play on two holes, #10 and #18.

#11, a 441-yard, par 4, is the hardes hole on the course, requiring a long tee shot up a sharp-breaking dogleg left fairway, then a long approach shot to an elevated green, if you come up short you'll find your ball sliding down a steep embankment to the right, leaving you with a blind third shot.

In the late afternoons, the wind becomes a factor, making this already difficult course a little more strenuous.
