Foxtail Golf Club, North Course

Foxtail Golf Club formerly named Mountain Shadows Golf Resort is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Rohnert Park, California. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses, Foxtail - North, and Foxtail - South.

Foxtail Golf Club, The North Course opened in 1974. The course was designed by Gary Roger Baird.

Located in the beautiful wine country, Foxtail Golf Club is both scenic and challenging. The two 18 hole, championship courses both feature rolling fairways and large undulating greens. Both courses offer a challenging game, incredible views and beautiful lakes – especially the 7th hole on the North Course, which has been rated as one of the most challenging holes in Northern California.

Par for the Foxtail North Course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,851 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,261 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 583 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 144 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 460 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Foxtail, The North Course, is # 6, a 144 yard par-3.
