As usual Simi Hills is in great shape - greens roll great and fairways are very nice. The staff is super and food is good. Only thing I can say bad about it is the wind and no matter who I talk to they don't seem to be able to help. Would highly recommend to any level player - just hard enough from the whites to make it a challenge and a good test from the back tees. Go and enjoy!!!

Always in no worse than good condition and the management is always trying to improve the course recently putting new sand in the bunkers, moving tee boxes, fixing greens. A basic course in the sense carts are without GPS. A drink and food cart passes at least once if not more than once each round.

Course is in great condition. Fairways and greens all above par. No wet spots, very few bare areas.

Although this is my home course and very close by, I would travel to play it. None of the holes remind you of other holes, they all have unique character and challenges. The sand has been recently improved, in the past I would have said that was the least favorable condition on the course. When the greens are at their best they are very good, overall they are a little better than average. The drinking water is usually fresh, cold, and very good, and found on enough holes. All in all the value here for the dollar is excellent. I just wish players from other areas who come here would take a little time and repair more ball marks, fill more divots, and pick up their trash. My regular partner and I make a point of picking up everything we find, and we have to empty our trash bags each round.

Much improved over the last two years. They finally punched the fairways and the bermuda grass took off well this summer. Didn't areate the fairways for 3 years and they became hard, dried and brown. They also stopped over-seeding with winter rye about 3 years ago so the course isn't in as good a condition as it could be during the winter months. The greens have always been nice and fair. If you can read a putt you can make it. The poa annua is taking over the 6th green (finally)so that green will match the others by next year. No matter where we play, we always end up back at Simi Hills for 75% of our rounds and we play over 75 rounds a year. It's just a nice layout, challenging from the Blues and you don't lose balls like other courses.

Excellent design, layout, ambience & maintenance. Excellent value, even in high-priced Los Angeles-adjacent area. I drive over 25 miles to play this track on a weekly basis. I recommend this Ted Robinson designed course for out of town visitors. A great value...friendly staff, good practice facilities, sunny skies. Can be windy, but still very playable.

Close to home and residents of Simi Valley can make tee time reservations a day earlier than non-residents.

Great course for everyday play. I play it once a week and it never gets old. Good price, good challenge and I usually come away with as many balls as I started. Can't say that about Rustic, Wood Ranch or Lost Canyons. For a treat we play Lost Canyons, Moorpark Country Club, Sandpiper and others but come back here week in and week out.
