Sinaloa Golf Course first opened for play in 1958. The course was redesigned by Geoff Shackelford in 1995.
The course is owned and operated by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, and the sister course to Simi Hills Golf Course just up the street.
Sinaloa Golf Course is a 9-Hole, Par-27 course that plays to a maximum 9-hole distance of 1,088 yards. The course has bunkers on 7 holes and a lake on the signature 9th hole. Sinaloa has a couple of holes that are patterned after some famous holes, such as #5, a 135-yard, par 3, is somewhat similar to #12 at Augusta National, and #8, which measures 132 yards, is similar to #10 at Winged Foot West.
This is a good course for beginners and senior citizens. It is a good place to practice your short game.
