Shelter Cove Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Whitethorn, California, on bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The course is a bit "out of the way, west of Hwy 101, and about 40 miles south of Eureka.

The course plays to a 9-hole par-33 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 2,380 yards. The course is straight forward, few trees, no water hazards or bunkers. It is actually an unremarkable course if you take away it's million dollar view of the Pacific and the within a 9-iron, beautiful Cape Mendocino Lighthouse.
