The Menlo Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1917. The course was designed by Tom Nicoll. The course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones and Gary Roger Baird in 1970.

The Menlo Country Club golf course is a very well-maintained course private course. The course can be both hilly and flat, depending on the hole being played. A pond or a creek comes into play on eight of the holes. The undulating greens vary in size, and some of them are elevated and well bunkered. The fairways have thick tree lines and a well-groomed rough.
