Black Gold Golf Club is a challenging layout with several water features, including a stunning waterfall off the 18th green, slight elevation changes, rolling hills, and strategic bunkering. The fairways are extremely soft here, sometimes a little wet, and don't get much roll, the greens also hold shots well. On a clear day golfers can view the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island from several points along the course. The 12th teebox provides the best panoramic views, as it is the highest elevation point of any golf course in Orange County.
