Smoky River Golf Course

Smoky River Golf Course is a Public 9 hole golf course located on the north side of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.

The course was designed by Marty Johnson. It first opened for play in 1991.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees the course plays to 2,976 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,320 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 533 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 143 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, the 533 yard par-5 challenge is the #2 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 2, the 143 yard par-3.

The course does not have any sand bunkers or water hazards.  The most interesting features are its natural hills and valleys, so expect some uneven lies.  The greens are large. The prevailing south wind can be a definite factor.  There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.
