Detailed description

Buffalo Run Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Commerce City, Colorado.

Buffalo Run Golf Course first opened for play in 1996. Keith Foster designed the course.

There are no trees on this links-style course, but water comes into play on five holes, and sand bunkers come into play on nearly every hole.  One of the more demanding holes is #13, a 260-yard, par 3, known as "Buckle-Down."

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,411 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,227 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 607 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays 206 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 453-yard par-4 challenge, and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Buffalo Run Golf Course is # 10, a 382 yard par-4.

Mark more areas as hazards, middle of fairway on number 11 for example, it would help with the pace of play. The city needs to put more money in the course, all other courses in the area have people working on course conditions all day, at Buffalo Run it is just early in the morning.

fairwats at this time were very dry, some areas completly void of turf. The rough was inconsistent similar to fairways very difficult to play out of.

Greens were in really bad shape. Worst ones Ive played on all year. All other greens that I have played took a long time to heal but these are bad!
