Detailed description

Southington Country Club, is a public, 18 hole golf course located in Southington, Connecticut, in the picturesque "Apple Valley" between the Meriden and Waterbury Mountain Ranges.

The Club was incorporated in 1922. Temporary greens were hurriedly prepared and on Labor Day, 1922, a golf tournament was played by the members of the club.

The front nine is built on a hilly open terrain while the narrower back nine is much flatter. Water comes into play on 10 of the holes, including a pond that was placed on the left side of the fairway of hole #13 during renovations in 1997.  The greens are medium-sized.

One of the most difficult holes on the course is #6, a 508-yard, par 5, which plays uphill and requires an approach shot over water.

Blue tees: par-71, 5,932 yards, 67.8 / 122
White tees: par-71, 5,675 yards, 66.8 / 121
Gold tees: par-71, 5,037 yards, 64.5 / 111
Red tees: par-71, 4,898 yards, 69.3 / 123
