Farmingbury Hills Golf Club is a scenic 9 hole course features a beautiful view of Apple Valley. There are mature trees lining all the fairways and the surrounding area. There are even some apple trees on the grounds. The terrain is hilly, so expect many uneven lies in the fairways. Additionally, the small greens are well manicured and fast. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 2966 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2593 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 510 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 102 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 419-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 102 yard par-3.
If playing the course as a double loop 18-hole course, the white nine (front side) is distinctly different from the blue (back nine). The fourth and thirteen have two different tee boxes and share the same green. The fifth and fourteenth have two different greens. The sixth and fifteenth have two tee boxes offering different shots to this challenging par three. The 8th hole from the white tees is a 180-yard par 3 while the 17th is a two-tier par 4. The finishing holes 9 and 18 have different tee boxes offering a long par 4 for the 9th and a three shot par 5 when played as the 18th.
