Garrisons Lake Golf Club

Garrisons Lake Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Smyrna, Delaware. Garrison's Lake Golf Club is located on Delaware Route 13 immediately south of Smyrna and nine miles north of Dover.

Garrisons Lake Golf Club, first opened for play in 1962. The course features tree-lined fairways, many parallel fairways, and large, well-bunkered, undulating greens.

After having been closed for a period of time, the golf course re-opened September 12 2008 after a complete renovation by golf course architect Edmund B. Ault. Garrisons Lake Golf Club is owned by the State of Delaware and is now operated for the state on a non-profit basis by the Delaware State Golf Association.

This is a long (over 7,000 feet from the back tees), flat course with tree-lined fairways. Water and sand bunkers frequently come into play. The signature hole is #14, a 199-yard, par 3, which requires a long tee shot over water.
