Dupont Country Club, Montchanin Golf Course

Dupont Country Club is a Private, 54 hole golf facility located in Wilmington, Delaware. The facility has two regulation 18-hole courses and one executive 18-hole golf course. The regulation courses are the DuPont Golf Course and the Nemours Golf Course. The executive course is the Montchanin Golf Course.

The Montchanin Golf Course first opened in 1955. The course was designed by William and David Gordon.Montchanin was converted to an 18-hole course in 1965.

The course has tiny greens and narrow fairways.  This par-61 layout plays to a maximum distance of 4,283 yards. The layout includes seven par fours that measure up to 385 yards and the eleven par-3s average 170 yards. Montchanin also features the smallest greens at DuPont so your short game and scoring ability will certainly be tested.
