The Fort McNair Golf Course has flat, tree-lined fairways and small greens. Golfers must careful with their shots, a wayward drive could easily be hit into the National Defense University buildings that come way too close to several fairways. Car windows are also in danger
McNair plays to a 9 hole par-27 and maximum distance of 3197 yards. The forward tees play to 2,861 yards and a par-29.
